How do I choose the right puppy or the right breed?

Good question.  You definitely need answers.

Ask yourself these questions and then talk to the breeder.  We know our breeds and our puppies and can help you in finding the best fit for your household.

Which breed?
  Do you have an understanding of the breed you are interested in?  The particular needs of that breed: the energy level, grooming demands, special care needed?
  What kind of temperament are you looking for?  Active, loving, independent, easy-going?
  Do you want shedding or non-shedding?
  What other types of animals live with you?  Does the breed get along well with other animals?

Which puppy?
  Take a look at your living situation: size of house, yard and who lives with you.  Which temperament best suits your situation?
  What size best suits your situation?  A tiny, delicate puppy would not be best for a house full of rambunctious, boisterous people (or other animals).
